National Native Scholarship Providers
Our voices are stronger when we lift them together!
The four organizations that comprise the National Native Scholarships Providers (the American Indian College Fund, AISES, the Cobell Scholarship Program administered by Indigenous Education, Inc., and Native Forward Scholars Fund) have joined forces to advocate for Native students’ access to higher education.
Our decades of data-supported work prove that an affordable higher education is the foundation for healthy individuals and families. An education is the backbone of stronger communities and a stronger nation.
Proposed changes in federal law and policy will bring a halt to work that has created prosperity for thousands of Native American students and will eliminate opportunities for generations to come.
Join us and make your voice heard and ensure all students have the chance to succeed for the next seven generations to come.

Advocacy Opportunities
The National Native Scholarship Providers are united in advocating for the success of Native students. Together, we work to remove barriers to higher education, expand access to scholarship resources, and champion Native-led solutions. Through policy, partnerships, and public awareness, we are advancing equity and self-determination in education. This work highlights our advocacy efforts and how you can stand with us to support Native scholars and the institutions that serve them.

Proposed Legislation Impact
Federal and state legislation directly affects the ability of Native students to access, afford, and complete higher education. The National Native Scholarship Providers monitor and respond to proposed policies that influence funding for Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), scholarship programs, Native-serving institutions, and student support services.
This work highlights current legislative proposals, outlines their potential impact on Native communities, and shares how you can take action. Whether it’s protecting treaty obligations, increasing financial aid, or supporting Native languages and cultures in education, we advocate for laws that honor sovereignty and expand opportunity.

Save Pell! Call Your Representatives
Tell your Representatives to support the Senate’s Pell provisions. They protect $10.5 billion in funding and keep the program strong for low-income students, especially American Indian and Alaska Native students. Cuts would create needless barriers to higher education.
